General release, 6 October 1929. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The film was also released in the USA in a silent version at eight reels (7704 feet) by Fox Film Corporation in 1929. The film was released in Finland on 13 October 1930. / Silent film, with talking sequences, synchronized music and sound effects.

Survival status: Print exists [incomplete restoration print (a total of approximately five reels) has been assembled in the early 1990s from surviving 35mm (two-three reels) and 16mm reduction elements (five reels of the silent version), including portions of the soundtrack.
