Born 2 August 1910 in Arnhem, Gelderland, The Netherlands, as Geertrguida Everdina Wilhelmina van Aalten.
Died 27 June 1999 in Warmond, Zuid-Holland, The Netherlands.
Truus van Aalten began her film career in 1926, having won a competition. Soon she was working for UFA in Berlin.
