Ann Little
(same as Anna Little)

Born 7 February 1891 in Mount Shasta, California, USA, as Mary Brooks.
Died 21 May 1984 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

Married actor Allan Forrest, 19 August 1916; divorced 1918.

Ann Little began her professional career as a stock company player, where she was discovered in San Francisco for films. Ann began her film career working for Essanay in 1911, New York Motion Picture Company from 1911-1914, The Universal Film Manufacturing Company from 1914-1915, American Film Company from 1915-1916, Selznick in 1917, Paramount Pictures Corporation from 1917-1919, Arrow Film Corporation from 1919-1923, and Rayart Pictures Corporation in 1925. Her adeptness at riding horses led to her long series of roles in westerns and serials.

She abruptly quit her film career in the mid-1920s, and rarely talked of her filmmaking days through her death in 1984.
