Sister of assistant director Louis Germonprez.

Married director and actor Erich von Stroheim, 1919; separated, 1936; son, Josef von Stroheim.

Valerie Germonprez began film work in 1918, where she met her future husband. Her filmography only includes five films, in which she often appeared as an extra.
