Tully Marshall

Born 13 April 1864 in Nevada City, California, USA, as William Phipps.
Died 10 March 1943 in Encino, California, USA, of heart failure.

Married writer and actress Marion Neiswanger (screen name Marion Fairfax), 7 June 1899;
until Tully’s death, 10 March 1943.

Tully Marshall began work in motion pictures in 1914. In the 1920s Marshall became a respected and popular character actor, working in several top films including The Hunchback of Notre Dame (1923), The Covered Wagon (1923), The Cat and the Canary (1927) and Queen Kelly (1929).
