Heller). / Premiered 27 February 1930 at the Alfa Theatre in Prague, Czechoslovakia. / 35mm spherical 1.20:1 format. / The production began shooting in the Autumn of 1929 at the Kavalírka studio in Košíře, Prague, Czechoslovakia. Production was halted by a studio fire on 25 October 1929, which destroyed much or all of the footage shot up to that time. The production resumed at the AB studios in Vinohrady, Prague, Czechoslovakia. Prior to its premiere, it was decided to release the production as a sound film. There being no available sound film equipment in Czechoslovakia, post-synchronization of sound was recorded at the Gaumont Joinville studio in Paris, France, in Czech, German and French versions in 1930. The film was released in Slovenia on 8 July 1930. / Silent film, with synchronized music and sound effects.
