Costume design by Job [Jacques Onfroy de Bréville]. Wolves trained by Louis MacDonald (of the Amar Circus). Assistant director, Jean Hémard. Cinematography by Maurice Forster, Marc Bujard and Robert Batton. Music score by Henri Rabaud. / Premiere at the Paris Opera in Paris, France, on 13 November 1924. / Standard 35mm spherical 1.33:1 format. / The first film to use the city of Carcassonne as a medieval set (here standing in for Beauvais). The first motion picture to premiere at the Paris Opera. The film premiered in the USA at the Criterion Theatre in New York, New York, on 23 February 1925. The film was restored by the Archives Française du Film (CNC) and Gaumont.
